our scientific community. This is a very important moment for our team in Lyon, as
it has now been sixteen years since we arrived in Oxford to attend the very first
SDM conference in 2001. We therefore particularly want to welcome those for whom this
is their first international shared decision making conference. You will never be the same
again! The very next year, we organized in Lyon an international workshop on SDM in
close partnership with Angela Coulter, a pioneer in SDM [
